MAIDU CONCESSIONS/SNACK BAR POLICY
The Maidu Little League snack bar is a great opportunity for our league, and we appreciate your support. The Maidu Little League Snack Bar is located at the Maidu Field complex and will be open for business as scheduled in the beginning of the season.
• Each team must supply four (4) adult workers for each two (2) hour shift assigned. Adult workers are required to be a minimum of 18 years or older. If a team does not fulfill their snack bar volunteer obligations, the snack bar will be closed, and their team’s NEXT game may be forfeited.
• A Maidu Little League Board Member will help open and close the snack bar.
• Each team is required to work up to a certain number of shifts per season. A shift is two (2) hours long and the quantity will be determined prior to the season starting. (Calculations are made based on quantity of teams and when snack bar will be open.)
• It is greatly appreciated to avoid asking your manager and coaches to work the snack bar, however that could result in more shifts per family on your team. That is a decision you can make with your team manager.
• Team shifts will be assigned after the game schedule is released and emailed to the Team parent.
• TOC or All-Star parents will be assigned an additional shift if Maidu Little League is chosen to host TOC’s or All-Star tournaments.
• The TEAM PARENT is responsible to make sure all adults show up for their assigned snack bar shift.
• Adults should arrive 15 minutes before their shift and stay until their relief from the next shift arrives, or until closing if your team has the last shift of the day.
• If you have a worker that is sick and/or unable to work your teams assigned shift, please call Mary Leimbach at (916) 813-9819 or Dan Gumpert at (916) 704-2596. Please only call in this instance, all other snack bar questions/inquiries please email (email address listed below).
• Important: If you cannot cover your teams scheduled snack bar shift, the snack bar will be closed, and your team’s next game may be forfeited.
